Fantastic Film Festival Australia returns to push the boundaries of cinema, presenting vibrant, unrestrained and wholly original storytelling from around the globe.

This year's program includes 27 feature films and 19 shorts, including those made by local filmmakers in Melbourne and Sydney.

With a Lynne Ramsay retrospective, nude screening of Austin Powers, Q&As with local directors, a live improvisational score of Hard Boiled performed at Closing Night, and a massive 3-film marathon presented by Umbrella Entertainment for Umbrella-Palooza, there's something for everyone!

FFFA 2025 launches on Thursday 24 April with the Australian Premiere screening of Hell of a Summer. Screening in Sydney and Melbourne, enjoy this bloody hilarious summer camp slasher, with a DJ set and drinks before the film.

Screening in Melbourne at Lido Cinemas, Hawthorn and Thornbury Picture House, and in Sydney and Ritz Cinemas, Randwick from April 24 to May 16.
