Need some new pants? Need something outrageously stunning? Then we have got you sorted! With Beserks awesome range of men's punk pants, you're aura will be singing Dead Kennedy's music!
Punk fashion hit the scene over 50 years ago. They rebelled against the perceived normal mainstream culture. Their clothing is a statement that spits on materialism, as punks usually wear the same pieces of clothing for days if not months on end. Punk is anti-establishment, anti-status quo, anti-institutional and anti-religious. They believe in anarchy, freedom of the people, destruction of tradition and a basic truth that exists beneath all of these societal constraints. Over time, the true meaning of punk faded, turning into such a statement that major fashion designers like Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier began using punk elements in their collections, and fashion magazines began featuring punk-inspired hairstyles and clothing.
Punks often wear elements of early punk fashion, such as kutten vests, bondage trousers (often plaid) and torn clothing. DIY-created and modified clothing, such as ripped or stitched-together trousers or shirts, or trousers that are tightly tapered. You most likely associate punks with having mohawks and or spikes, this is not fully because it's a typically punk hairstyle, but because it rebels against the mainstream norms.
