For the Love of Skulls! When you take the skull symbolism into consideration, it’s not so surprising that skulls are something many people find interesting enough to decorate themselves and their surroundings with. Death is endlessly fascinating in so many ways, and a human skull is an easily recognizable and visceral symbol of our mortality. What death is, and how it fascinates, is very much subjective. It’s also universal, we all die, we all think about it. The most common symbolic use of the skull is as a representation of death and mortality (and evil, naturally). From shrunken voodoo heads found in tribes of the Amazon to the sugar skulls of the day of the dead, skulls have long exerted a mystical pull on the human imagination.
But mostly, skulls are just downright cool! The skull is a structure of bone that forms the human head (it forms the heads of all vertebrates, actually), and it supports the structures of the face while providing a protective cavity for the brain to do its thing. Skulls are divided into two parts: the cranium and the mandible (the head and the lower jaw bone). Functions of the skull include protection of the brain, fixing the distance between the eyes to allow us to determine distances, fixing the position of the ears to enable us to sense sound waves, and of course for headbutting things (not recommended).
Beserk carries a deadly range of everything with a skull on it! Skull clothing, skull dresses, skull jewellery (earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces), skull masks for costumes, skull backpacks, skull homewares, skull decorations, skull kitchen ware, skull clocks, skull air fresheners, skull tops, skull barware, skull skirts, skull-themed bathroom decor, skull socks, skull patches and pins, skull wallets and skull handbags, skull pop culture collectables, skull babies clothing, and just so many more skulls!
