Our Commitment to Sustainability and The Environment
Beserk, like any business, depends on the environment in many ways. We are a proudly carbon neutral, environmentally friendly business that uses resources efficiently to reduce our carbon impact as much as possible. We purchase yearly carbon credits that fund the planting of native trees in deforested areas around Australia.
Our Sustainable Business practices
Running an environmentally friendly business helps Beserk and our customers reduce our impact on the environment and preserves natural resources. We help the environment in many ways! For example, we:
- 💚only used recycled materials when packing our orders
- 💚avoid using materials unnecessarily
- 💚reduce our paper needs to a minimum
- 💚reuse by encouraging staff to use only scrap paper for note-taking instead of purchasing notepads
- 💚reuse all cardboard boxes in which we receive our stock from suppliers
- 💚recycle by shredding all excess paper (which we then use for packaging)
- 💚offer an extensive range of vegan and cruelty-free products.
We are working towards only using recycled materials for packing our orders, and we only use biodegradable bubble wrap for packing, which is fully decompostable!
We believe that our ethically sustainable methods sets us apart as a premier online alternative fashion store.
What does being a Sustainable Business entail?
We take climate change seriously, recognising it as a major threat to the planet and our biosphere, and take care in managing our impact. What we do, what we sell, and how we use and dispose of things makes us all responsible for the environment.
As long as climate change continues to affect our lives, we will continue to look for ways to reduce our imprint.
The Environmental Charities We Support!
Beserk also supports many animal and environmental charities, through donation or sponsorship. We love animals and want to help spread the word of the outstanding people and organisations who are doing incredible things preserving the many beautiful animal species on our planet!
The startling reality is that over 35-150 species become extinct every day due to inconsiderate human practices such as deforestation, mass culling for commercial activities and poaching for recreational purposes. Which is so sad! We would hate to see a world where animals become extinct due to human interference or a world with only captive animals, and at the rate we are going this is a very scary reality. So we are doing our small bit to help out! If you are interested in finding out more on any of these charities please visit the links below.
These are only a few of the many charities we love. You can find more amazing charities HERE and if you know of an amazing charity we should add to this list, please do contact us and let us know.
